Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all document control activities across multiple projects.
Ensure proper filing, tracking, and distribution of project documentation.
Maintain and update document management systems (DMS) to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
Monitor document flow, approvals, and submittals to meet project deadlines.
Prepare document control reports, logs, and summaries for management review.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to coordinate document submissions and approvals.
Train and guide junior document controllers and support staff (if applicable).
Requirements:
Minimum
5 years of proven experience
as a
Document Controller in the construction industry
, with at least
2 years in a senior role
.
Strong knowledge of document control standards, procedures, and best practices.
Proficiency in MS Office and document management platforms (Aconex, Primavera, etc.).
Excellent organizational and leadership skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
