Receive, register, distribute, and track all incoming and outgoing project documents such as drawings, submittals, RFIs, method statements, inspection requests, and correspondence.
Maintain a master document register and ensure all documents are up-to-date and accessible.
System Management:
Use document control software to manage project documents.
Ensure proper filing, naming conventions, and version control of all electronic and hard copy documents.
Compliance & QA/QC:
Ensure that all project documents meet contractual and regulatory requirements, including ISO standards.
Coordination:
Liaise with contractors, consultants, and project teams (internal and external) to ensure timely submission and approval of project documents.
Provide administrative support to engineers and managers as required.
Archiving & Retrieval:
Organize and maintain document archives, both digital and physical.
Facilitate retrieval of documents as needed by stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Document Controller in the construction industry in the UAE .
Proficient in document control systems
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Fluent communication skills in English.
