Acceptance Solutions is Visa\'s digital merchant and acquirer payment management business, with industry leading global processing connectivity, risk and fraud management, and payment acceptance solutions. The Acceptance Platform is a strategic distribution platform for Visa products and services, and a critical value-added service for merchants and acquirers accepting many payment methods globally.

Acceptance Regional Solutions is the strategy and solutioning team that works with the regional sales, business development and marketing teams to understand market trends and opportunities and key client needs, and to develop product investment and go-to-market plans. The CEMEA Acceptance Solutions role serves as a liaison between Sales and Product, developing strategy and driving delivery of compelling solutions for our client segments and verticals.

The role has overall responsibility for Acceptance Regional Solutions within the CEMEA region. The person in role will be expected to be an active member of the CEMEA Acceptance Solutions leadership team. The role will have dual reporting into the Global lead of Acceptance Regional Solutions and to the Acceptance Solutions CEMEA regional business lead. This is a people leader role:

Responsibilities:
  • Drive efforts to evolve the overall Acceptance Solutions strategy and product investment prioritisation within the region, to establish business sponsorship and define execution criteria
  • Manage all aspects of demand, prioritisation, tracking, reporting and delivery of CEMEA region funded product under the CEMEA Expansion initiative
  • Overall responsible for End to End solution of specific and designated strategic projects. The person in role is expected to dedicate a significant proportion of their time on this and involve the team members to achieve the necessary outcomes
  • Manage team member, initially one, to execute on responsibilities of the role / function
  • Drive efforts to evolve the Acceptance Solutions local market solution strategy/prioritisation to establish business sponsorship and define execution criteria
  • Champion the adoption and commercialisation of new products into the region supporting the business with client evaluations of beta product
  • Participate in the commercialisation process for new products acting as the regional representative across areas such as pricing, packaging, solution marketing and sales training
  • Develop and maintain regional solutions roadmap informed by the solution prioritisation process and underlying product capability builds and specific project efforts
  • Support client teams with solution requirements and definition for strategic clients, acquirers and enterprise merchants, working with Sales Engineering and Global Services team members as required
  • Lead creation/design of new market or client focused solutions that generate significant revenue contribution for the region and overall business
  • Conduct regional competitive and regulatory intelligence activities to evaluate competitors\' activities and implications to inform senior executive decision-making
  • Thought leadership: continuously challenge the status quo and be relentless in focus to initiate and drive change
  • Author content for closed customer and public forums
  • Maintain close relationships with key merchant and acquirer business contacts and end-users to proactively solicit feedback on features, functionality, services and future requirements
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with the regional Visa product team seeking and developing opportunities for collaboration and go to market partnerships
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications
  • 12 years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree, 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Successful candidates should have a minimum of 4-6 years of business experience within a top tier payment gateway, merchant acquiring Institution or consulting company.
  • While a Bachelor\'s degree is required, an MBA or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Technical:
  • Advanced understanding of banking and payment card systems and processes
  • Advanced understand and experience of the card present payment acceptance eco-system across the CEMEA region
  • Sound knowledge of marketing principles, product management and merchant acceptance business acumen
  • Experience/knowledge of emerging payment trends and competitive landscape
  • Business:
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, commercial, project management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to envision and articulate a long term product strategy designed to improve the customer experience and value proposition.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, Ability to synthesize information into key messages appropriate for the audience.
  • Ability to inspire and lead high performing cross-functional teams who can envision and create innovative solutions that meet the needs of our worldwide customers.
  • Disciplined and tolerant of ambiguity, with the maturity and capability to interact and influence across multiple organizational levels internal and external to Visa.
  • Negotiation skills with proven track record of achieving results
  • Ability to interact with senior management, strong communication and presentation skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and interest in digging into the detail, understanding data, making recommendations based on the data and using it to solve problems.
This is a Dubai based role.
