Job Title: Senior DevOps Architect
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
We are looking to hire a Senior DevOps Architect for one of our Fintech clients based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end deployment pipeline of multiple key technology platforms like Java and AWS Services. Designs, builds and operates highly available hosting infrastructure on public and private clouds.
Someone who Applies experience of DevOps / SCM best practices to enable highly available & reliable systems and processes including source control, Architecture, artifact management, build, and deployment systems for a global workforce.
Maintains the SLA on development, test and production infrastructure by proactively monitoring, troubleshooting and fixing software and hardware problems.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have experience with AWS Cloud based Windows operating systems,
Technology platforms like Java / Databases like MS SQL / MySQL / MongoDB / Elasticsearch, Networking, Deployment automation, modern CI/CD, security, and application & performance monitoring.
Engineering / SCM Graduate with Min of 10 years experience with a indepth understanding of DevOps Engineering and best practices.
Strong expertise in the AWS well architected Framework and best practices
Strong experience with Cloud Technologies, Microservices Architecture and container technologies.
Good knowledge of Azure / Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
Strong experience in managing Development, Testing and Operations
Must have good experience in Kubernetes, Docker, ELK, Nagios, Chef/Ansible, Terra-form, Sparkle Formation, TFS, SVN, GitLab, Jenkins etc,
Experience building and monitoring microservices.
Systematic problem-solving approach, strong communication skills, a sense of ownership and drive
Deep understand of service metrics and alarms through the development of dashboards, service KPIs, alarming systems
Experience working in an operational environment with mission critical tier one services with associated pager duty.
Experience in Agile Methodologies, JIRA would be a plus.
