Job Description
Job Title: Senior Database Administrator Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Experience: 5 to 8Years Education: Bachelor's Degree Language: Excellent in English & Arabic JOB DESCRIPTION: Technical Skills: Proficient in MySQL InnoDB Cluster setup and management. Experience with deploying and maintaining EDB PostgreSQL Cluster on Kubernetes (K8s) and virtual machines (VMs). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Database Administrator, with exposure to DevOps practices. Proficiency in database management systems such as MySQL and PostgreSQL. Strong scripting skills (e.g., SQL, Python, or Bash) for automation tasks. Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Git, Terraform, Jenkins). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and their integration with database changes. Good to have: Experience with other database systems (e.g., Oracle, MongoDB). Knowledge of cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure Database). Certification in MySQL or PostgreSQL administration.
