About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced

Senior Data Governance Engineer

with a strong background in implementing and managing enterprise-wide

Data Governance platforms

. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with tools such as

Informatica, Collibra, Alation, Atlan, Select Star

, and possess an in-depth understanding of

data governance frameworks

,

data quality management

, and

metadata-driven architecture

.

You will play a key role in establishing, optimizing, and enforcing data governance policies, standards, and frameworks across the organization, ensuring high data integrity, compliance, and accessibility for critical business functions, particularly in

financial services

and

asset management

domains.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain

enterprise-wide Data Governance frameworks

and operating models. Lead the deployment, configuration, and integration of

Data Governance platforms

such as Informatica, Collibra, Alation, Atlan, or Select Star. Implement and manage

Data Catalog

,

Data Quality

, and

Data Lineage

modules. Define and enforce

data standards, policies, and procedures

to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements (GDPR, BCBS 239, etc.). Collaborate with business stakeholders, data stewards, and technical teams to drive consistent data definitions and metadata management practices. Monitor and report on

data quality KPIs

, governance maturity, and compliance levels. Support the design and execution of

data quality improvement initiatives

. Serve as a

subject matter expert

(SME) on data governance tools and best practices. Mentor and guide junior data governance or data management team members. (Bonus) Lead or participate in

Informatica Cloud

data governance solution implementations.

Qualifications & Experience:

10+ years

of professional experience in

Data Management / Data Governance

. Minimum

3 years of hands-on experience

implementing or managing enterprise Data Governance tools (e.g.,

Informatica, Collibra, Alation, Atlan, Select Star

). Proven track record in configuring and maintaining

Data Catalog

,

Data Quality

, and

Data Lineage

modules. Strong understanding of

metadata management, master data management (MDM)

, and

data privacy frameworks

.

STEM degree

(Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field) preferred. Experience in

asset management

or

investment banking

is a strong advantage. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Knowledge of

Informatica Cloud

implementation is a plus.
