My client is expanding their Data Engineering team and looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in data modelling, visualization, and ETL pipeline development. You'll play a key role in designing and delivering scalable, high-quality data solutions that power business intelligence and analytics for our US-based clients.
Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze client business requirements and design tailored data solutions.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses using SQL, Python, and dbt.
• Design and optimize data models leveraging medallion data architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers).
• Implement best practices to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance across data systems.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enable seamless data integration and visualization.
• Communicate proactively with clients, providing regular project updates and resolving any issues.
• Travel to the US occasionally to meet clients and dive deeper into projects.

What We're Looking For:

• Based in Medellin, Colombia with a valid US visa.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics with a strong track record in end-to-end data delivery.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation and analysis.
• Experience with dbt, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Streamlit for data visualization is a plus.
• Deep understanding of data modelling and medallion architecture.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and self-management skills.
• Proactive, client-focused mindset with the ability to work independently.
