Immediate Hiring for Leading French Company (Water, Energy & Waste Management)

1x Senior Data Engineer

Location: HQ in Dubai - UAE

Permanent/Full Time

Report directly to the UAE Digital Business & Technology Manager and functionally to the Regional Digital Transformation Manager

Ideal Candidate should:

- Be responsible of Data Analysis

- Be responsible of Reporting and Dashboard Development

- Be responsible of Data Pipeline Development and Management

- Be responsible of Data Warehousing and Database Management

- Be responsible of Data Modeling and Architecture

- Be responsible of Collaboration and Transversal Projects Management

- Be responsible of Data Acculturation

- Hold a Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

- Have Certifications in Google Cloud Platform or other relevant cloud platforms

- Have 10+ years experience in as a Data Engineer, with a focus on data integration, data pipelines, and data modeling

- Have experience with Google Cloud Platform and familiarity with services such as BigQuery, Data Fusion, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub

- Be Proficient in SQL, optimization, data modeling, and database design

- Expert with self-service BI tools like Looker Studio and Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and reports

- Expert in data governance principles and experience in implementing data quality checks

- Expert in data warehousing concepts and data lake management

- Experience with integration technologies, middleware, and API management

- Be able to work with large and complex datasets

- Be familiar with Agile methodologies and collaborative project management- Have Middle East experience (mandatory)

- Work in multi-cultural environment

- Team Building

- UAE Driving License

- Fluent in English, French & Arabic is a +
