Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Counter Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales within the building materials sector. You will be responsible for assisting walk-in customers, handle our key-clients, generating sales, following the payment, providing technical information, and ensuring excellent customer service at the counter.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist customers at the sales counter in a professional and friendly manner

- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable building materials

- Prepare quotations, invoices, and sales orders, and purchase orders

- Handle payments and maintain accurate billing records

- Provide technical knowledge about products (cement boards, gypsum, plywood, hardware, etc.)

- Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams for order dispatch

- Build and maintain relationships with regular customers

- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and market trends

Requirements:

- Minimum 2-3 years experience in counter sales in building materials

- Strong knowledge of construction and building materials

- Good communication skills in English, Hindi (Arabic/Malayalam is a plus)

- Customer-focused with a positive attitude

- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Excel, E-mails, etc.)

- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Sharjah: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
