Job Description
Sagacity Business Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Cost controller who is enthusiastic about joining our team at our business solutions situated in Healthcare city .
Contract length: 24 months Salary: Up to AED4,000.00 per month Experience:
- Cost Analysis and Control: Monitor and analyze all aspects of food and beverage costs, including raw materials, production, labor, and distribution, to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive profitability.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with various departments to develop and manage budgets for food and beverage operations. Prepare accurate financial forecasts to aid in strategic decision-making and cost optimization.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory control process, ensuring accurate tracking, minimizing waste, and preventing stock outs. Implement inventory management best practices to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Pricing Strategy: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to set competitive pricing for food and beverage products while considering market trends, production costs, and profit margins.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct regular variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted costs. Develop action plans to address any deviations and ensure alignment with financial targets.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Establish and maintain SOPs for cost control, inventory management, and pricing, ensuring consistency and adherence across all food and beverage operations.
- Reporting and Presentation: Prepare comprehensive and accurate financial reports, presenting key cost-related insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of cost controllers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure the team\'s success and professional development.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, focusing on cost-effectiveness and quality assurance.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master\'s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CMA, CPA) will be a plus.
- Proven experience as a Cost Controller or similar role within the food and beverage industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior management position.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in using financial analysis tools and techniques.
- Solid understanding of food and beverage operations, including supply chain management, production processes, and inventory control.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and budgeting, along with expertise in using accounting software and MS Excel.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities to convey complex financial data in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment, adapting to changing business needs.
