Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Cost Control Engineer

to oversee project cost planning, monitoring, and reporting. The role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with budgeting and forecasting, and the ability to support project teams in achieving financial objectives while maintaining cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, monitor, and control project budgets, cost baselines, and forecasts Track project expenditures and analyze cost variances Prepare periodic cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and performance dashboards Implement and maintain cost control systems and procedures Coordinate with planning, procurement, contracts, and project management teams Review change orders, variations, and claims for cost impact Support earned value analysis (EVA) and performance measurement Ensure compliance with company policies and project financial controls Provide management with accurate cost trends, risk analysis, and recommendations
Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field

7-10 years of proven experience

in cost control on large-scale projects Strong knowledge of project cost management principles and practices Proficiency in cost control software and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Excel, ERP systems) Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and earned value management Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment
