Role - Senior Consultant
Technology - Firewall Technologies
Location - Sharjah, UAE
Business Unit - CSEC

In the role of Security Consultant, you are fully responsible for the conception / design of the company-wide network solutions / IT security with creation of standards. Planning and design / dimensioning of the network regarding topologies and technologies. Development and optimization of work processes through automation. Comprehensive technical management and control of network topic complexes. Guiding offshore team and work closely with different stake holders. Planning and implementation of changes. Error analysis and troubleshooting (3rd level)
Required

• 9+ years of experience in Networking domain.
• Proven experience and success with Firewall Technologies
• Must have worked on Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco FTD
• Working Experience on Firewall analysers such as AlgoSec and Firemon is added benefit.
• Working Experience on Packer broker like Ixia vision one is added benefit.
• CNSE, PCNSA certified is good to have.

Preferred

• Hands of experience with Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco FTD.
• Expertise in NGFW and its methodologies.
• Knowledge of Configuration of any new firewalls.
• Expertise in driving network issues troubleshooting calls for customers.
• Good hands-on experience on ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
• Basic system administration skills for the Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of network protocols, data flows, and vulnerabilities in a TCP/IP environment.
• Basic understanding of cloud networking
• Familiar with fundamental networking concepts.
• Independent problem solver; self-directed, self-starting.
• Ability to prioritize and work issues via the ticketing system.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic operations environment.
• Experience building and maintaining automated alerts and dashboards.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language
• A desire to work collaboratively in a small, cross-functional team.
• A strong sense of accountability and self-motivation
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong customer service orientation.
