Job Title Senior Compliance Manager

Overview

The purpose of the role is to plan, supervise, and coordinate all activities regarding International Trade Control to ensure G42 remains compliant with all trade control regulations. This role will report directly to the Director of Compliance.

Responsibilities

Supports the delivery of G42 Ethics and Compliance Program across G42 core companies

Conducts risk assessment across G42 with respect to Trade Control compliance and identifies & remediates high risk areas and gaps in processes

Conducts regular monitoring and auditing of export related activities to ensure compliance with Trade Control regulations

Develops, documents, monitors and reports Trade Control procedures and strategy to ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations

Serves as subject matter expert for internal stakeholders for all Trade Control matters, procedures and processes

Apply for appropriate export licenses as required; document, monitor and report against all licenses

Responsible for the developing and delivering core compliance training

Establish tools for record keeping, export classification and screening

Draft due diligence questionnaires and end user certificates

Mentors, trains and supervises junior staff

Designs and implements new tools and techniques to improve the quality and delivery of service

Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Law

Be a certified export Compliance Officer

Experienced in legal drafting and confident in reviewing all legal instruments

Extensive knowledge of the application of trade regulations particularly in relation to disruptive technologies such as Cloud and Artificial Intelligence

Familiar with export licensing and knowledge of EAR and ITAR regulations

Experience in internal stakeholder management and engagement

Exceptional written and oral communication skills

Familiarity with restricted party screening
