Senior Commissioning Engineer

Job Description
- Lead commissioning activities for oil & gas projects, ensuring all systems and equipment are fully operational and meet project specifications.
- Manage the overall commissioning process, including planning, execution, and coordination with other engineering disciplines and contractors.
- Develop and review commissioning procedures, schedules, and checklists to ensure a smooth transition from construction to operations.
- Supervise the testing, startup, and handover of systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and site personnel to resolve technical issues and ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct system inspections, troubleshooting, and performance tests to verify equipment functionality.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior commissioning engineers and site staff.
- Prepare detailed commissioning reports, progress updates, and documentation for project stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and ADNOC-specific requirements during commissioning activities.
- Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- 15+ years of experience in commissioning within the oil & gas industry.
- Proven experience in a PMC role, with a strong understanding of commissioning processes and project management.
- Extensive experience working on ADNOC projects is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of commissioning protocols, safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure site environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
