Louvre Abu Dhabi is a universal museum located on Saadiyat Island - on a mission to create human connections through art, dating from prehistory to the present. We are currently seeking a Senior Collection Database Officer to join their team.\xe2\x81\xa0

The Senior Collection Database Officer will oversee the continued development and implementation of CMS database for the Louvre Abu Dhabi. The role holder will participate in the process of publishing the database on the museum website.\xe2\x81\xa0

Key responsibilities will include managing the collections database system by acting as principal liaison with outside vendors and other departments regarding database related projects for the unit. In addition, the Senior Collection Database Officer will manage and coordinate regular updates of the database according to international standards.\xe2\x81\xa0

Candidates must possess 5 years minimum of post graduate experience in documentation/cataloguing/database management, having managed museum systems such as \xe2\x80\x9cEMu\xe2\x80\x9dand \xe2\x80\x9cAxiell Collections\xe2\x80\x9d. A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Art History with back experience in database, IT or digitalization is essential.\xe2\x81\xa0
