About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Security Engineer to strengthen and lead our security posture across both cloud and on-premises environments. In this role, you will design and implement advanced security controls, monitor infrastructure, and automate security workflows. You will play a key role in ensuring the protection, resilience, and compliance of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and enhance security architecture for cloud and hybrid infrastructures (Azure, AWS, etc.).

Lead identity protection, access management, and infrastructure hardening initiatives.

Analyze logs, network traffic, and cloud activity to identify and mitigate threats.

Develop automation and security tooling using PowerShell, Python, and APIs.

Build and maintain monitoring dashboards, SIEM integrations, and alerting mechanisms.

Respond to security incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and document remediation measures.

Advise teams on security best practices and support strategic security planning.

Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and engineering teams to ensure secure operations.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in cloud security, infrastructure engineering, or cybersecurity.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, IAM, and cloud security models.

Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, and automation frameworks.

Experience with network security, firewalls, and infrastructure hardening.

Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR platforms, logging, and incident response procedures.

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to take ownership and work effectively in a fast-paced full-time role.

Nice to Have

Security certifications (AZ-500, MS-500, CISSP, Security+, CEH, etc.).

Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and modern cloud security patterns.

Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, or container security.

Understanding of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC2).
