Wood has been awarded a general engineering contract to support an International Client operator to deliver a portfolio of onshore capital projects by provision of engineering and project management services (including EPC contract management), as well as Supply Chain, Construction and Commissioning support from Wood Iraq and UAE offices.


Projects include both Greenfield and Brownfield modification projects and integrating low-carbon solutions to support our client's energy transition and emissions reduction goals.

Responsibilities:

Specialist Designer in Design & Detailing of Civil & Structural works of Oil and Gas projects Must have hands-on experience in Concrete, Structural steel, Underground drainage & Layout drawing preparation for EPC and FEED projects Modelling experience in SP3D and experience in Navisworks / SPR / E3D / PDS / PDMS platform is must Knowledge in specification and design basis Ensure that works comply with the American codes and Standards Experience on preparation of MTO through XL spread sheet will be a plus point Be responsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance Carry out work in accordance with Wood and project Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems Maintain the required technical quality of work Identify scope and schedule changes in accordance with the Change Control Process Maintain planning on all work scopes Provide technical assistance to discipline assigned personnel as required Ensure, as far as practically possible, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with the agreed schedule Keep up to date with technical developments Review, prepare, check work output of discipline assigned personnel Prepare estimates and assist in their review Maintain good communication with the team and client Maintain discipline filing system Encourage and provide lateral learning within the project

Expected:

Minimum Diploma Engineering in civil / structural or ITI Minimum 10 years post graduate experience Minimum 6 years' experience in the oil and gas industry Minimum 4 years' experience in the designation Modelling experience in SP3D is a must
