PURPOSE: We are currently looking for a Senior Civil and/or Structural Designer to join our team. RESPONSIBILITIES: . Develop civil earthwork design drawings and 3D models based on engineering information, site data and Customer requirements for: o site earthwork planning and development o site grading and drainage o access roads and facilities infrastructure o stormwater management plans including design of retention and detention ponds, lift stations, controlled discharge o sumps, pipeline corridors, pumphouse and substation pads o underground utilities (culverts, subdrains) . Prepare Material Take-offs. . Conduct 3D model reviews and perform clash check. . Process raw survey data into CADD format. . Coordinate with, supervise, guide and mentor junior and intermediate designers, may exercise guidance and instruction over a number of designers. . Coordinate with and gather information from other disciplines, with knowledge of the impact of other disciplines design data on civil design. . Actively work with the workshare offices, where appropriate, assign tasks and supervise progress; and ensure the required services meet Worley, its Customers' and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, on time and within budget. . Assist in the development and management of deliverable estimate, design schedule, progress and budget. . Communicate effectively with the engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer. . Perform self-check and checking of other's deliverables. . Perform site visits for design verification. WHAT YOU WILL BRING Technical and Industry Experience: . A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Industrial Process and Resource projects. . Knowledge of Laser Scan Point Cloud data in design software such as LFM or AutoDesk ReCap (an asset).

Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: . A diploma in Engineering design and drafting or equivalent . Strong working knowledge of: AutoCAD, MicroStation, InRoads, Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads, 3D modelling experience an absolute must. Required: . Proficient in the use of design review software such as Navisworks and SmartPlant Review. . Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite. . Excellent knowledge of the fundamental requirements of civil design, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields. . Excellent technical and practical design skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers. . Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

. Minimum 10 years in structural concrete and steelwork design modelling and Drafting in the Mining industry. . Pilbara Iron Ore experience essential . Rio Tinto IO experience preferred. . Proficient in Microstation 2D & 3D, experience with ProSteel.

Technical and Industry Experience . Highly effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers. . A sound knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the structural engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields. . A sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements. . Competent use of structural engineering specific software. . Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite. . Substantial technical land practical experience in structural engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
