Title:Senior Civil Engineer (onshore)

1. QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including minimum (5) years, preferred in GCC region. Must have at least three (3) years of experience in similar position in a mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.

2. JOB PURPOSE: Guides the relevant discipline specialists and engineers of Contractor/ Consultant providing expertise and input on application of COMPANY and industry standards in the design and development during Project phases in a manner that achieves Project design requirements within the cost and schedule targets set by COMPANY

3. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Review all relevant engineering deliverables prepared by Contractor/ Consultant Participate in relevant workshops providing expertise to ensure design is meeting project requirements Respond to technical queries from Contractor/ Consultant and others, as deemed necessary in respect to relevant discipline. Ensures safe, economic and technically sound decisions in all project phases. Verify that all discipline deliverables are completed correctly and satisfactorily. Review requests for Design Deviations / Concession Requests proposed. Review technical content of variation order in the Project Contract. Participate in design review meetings. Review project specifications Review of relevant equipment design Review of engineering datasheets.
