Job Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Lead and manage civil engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Design and Planning:

Develop, review, and approve civil engineering designs, plans, and specifications. Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and client requirements.

Site Supervision:

Oversee and coordinate site activities to ensure that construction is progressing according to the project schedule. Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams.

Technical Expertise:

Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, resolving complex engineering challenges and ensuring the best practices are followed.

Cost Estimation & Budgeting:

Prepare cost estimates and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely procurement of materials.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with quality control procedures and project specifications.

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and challenges during the project lifecycle and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.

Collaboration:

Coordinate with architects, designers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of the civil engineering aspects into the overall project.

Client Liaison:

Communicate directly with clients to ensure their needs are met and project expectations are managed effectively.

Reports & Documentation:

Prepare and present regular progress reports, including technical reports, progress updates, and financial summaries.

Health & Safety Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations on site and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.

Team Leadership:

Mentor and guide junior engineers and project staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree is a plus). Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 6 years in a senior or leadership role. Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects in the UAE or GCC region. Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, and others. Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus). Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction. UAE Driver's License preferred.
