Job Description

keys and Responsbilities :

A. Project Supervision and Execution

Supervise and monitor construction activities at site to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and safety standards. Verify that materials and workmanship meet approved standards and project requirements. Review and approve method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings submitted by the contractor.

B. Quality Control & Assurance

Inspect and approve construction stages (formwork, reinforcement, concrete pour, finishing, etc.). Ensure all tests (concrete cube, soil compaction, waterproofing, etc.) are performed and documented properly. Identify non-conformities and issue NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) where necessary.

C. Contract & Documentation

Ensure that works are executed as per contract specifications, drawings, and BOQ. Review contractor's interim payment applications and recommend for client approval. Maintain site records including drawings, inspection requests (IRs), and correspondence.

D. Coordination and Communication

Attend site coordination and progress meetings with the client, contractor, and design team. Liaise with structural, MEP, and architectural teams to resolve design or site issues. Ensure proper communication flow between site and head office.

E.Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)

Monitor and ensure implementation of HSE standards on site. Report unsafe conditions or practices to the contractor and ensure rectification. Participate in safety audits and toolbox talks when required.

F. Progress Monitoring & Reporting

Track project progress against schedule and report delays or risks. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for submission to the client.

G. Final Handover & Closeout

Verify and approve as-built drawings and O&M manuals. Inspect final works and prepare snag lists/punch lists. Ensure rectification of defects during the defect liability period (DLP).
