Job Description

Senior Civil Engineer -

Position Summary:

The Senior Civil Engineer oversees the planning, design, execution, and supervision of civil engineering projects such as roads, buildings, bridges, drainage systems, and infrastructure developments. They ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise civil engineering projects from initial design to final handover. Prepare and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications. Ensure compliance with UAE/GCC municipal codes, regulations, and safety standards. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities. Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues on-site. Review and approve project budgets, timelines, and progress reports. Oversee procurement of materials and ensure quality control. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance. Manage project documentation, contracts, and variation orders. Implement sustainable and cost-effective engineering solutions.
