Purpose

You will provide civil engineering services, including technical support and supervision

within the civil engineering team.

Primary objective

Preparation of design deliverables for the concrete and steel structures.

Specific Accountabilities

• Preparation of drawings for the concrete and steel structures using softwares like ACAD/PDMS/PDS and Microstation
• Preparation of reinforcement detail drawings for the concrete structures
• Preparation of site grading drawings.
• Interaction with other department for clarifications on information\xe2\x80\x99s relevant to drawing undertaken
• Maintaining records of drawings and other documents as assigned by the Discipline ManagerleadSenior Engineer
• Estimation of concrete and structural steel quantities of respective drawings
• 3-D modelling of structures using PDMS/PDS
• Extraction of drawings from 3-D model
• Safety \xe2\x80\x93 ensuring that design focuses on safety in construction, maintenance and operation.
• Ensure work done meets all acceptance criteria with respect to safety, quality, technical competency, cost and schedule.
• Monitor progress, budget and schedule.
• Overall man-hour key performance indicators for assigned work.
• Conduct site investigations.
• Prepare detail designs in conjunction with engineers.
• Produce work packs & drawings.
• Ensure that the level of design work is appropriate for the complexity of the construction tasks.
• Ensure work done conforms to the applicable specifications, codes and standards.
• Liaison with other disciplines on technical issues.
• Knowledge and compliance with Worley drafting procedures and drawing systems and applications.
• Quality Assurance \xe2\x80\x93 Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the BU, etc

Qualifications

Essential Skills/Experience

• Diploma in civil engineering from the institute approved from the state or technical education department or equivalent.
• Experience in Relevant in the oil/petrochemical and gas industry related structures. Layouts etc.
• To work without direct supervision and to be able to provide advice and direction to others.
