Senior Engineer - Civil & Structural (Onshore)

Location:

Qatar, Oil & Gas (Brownfield Projects)

Contract Duration:

6 Months (Extendable)

Working Days:

6 Days per week

Working Hours:

08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Salary:

QAR 20,000 - 22,000 (All-inclusive of all benefits and allowances)

We are seeking a highly experienced

Senior Civil & Structural Engineer (Onshore)

with a strong background in

brownfield engineering design

within the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of international codes and standards, hands-on design experience, and proven capability in client coordination and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and deliver

civil and structural design

across Concept, FEED, and Detailed Design phases for brownfield oil and gas projects. Review and provide inputs on

architectural deliverables

for new buildings. Develop

brownfield layouts

including drainage system design. Design

concrete buildings, steel structures, pipe supports, pipe bridges, platforms, and foundations

. Conduct

adequacy checks

of existing structures. Prepare and review

engineering calculations

using

STAAD Pro Connect

and

Mat3D

software. Prepare

material take-offs (MTOs)

and other engineering deliverables. Carry out

site surveys

as required. Collaborate with clients and participate in

internal/external meetings

.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).

10+ years' experience

in civil & structural design within oil & gas brownfield projects. Middle East experience is a must;

Qatar experience preferred

. Familiarity with

International Codes and Standards

(BS EN, American codes),

Shell DEPs

, and

Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS)

. Prior experience working with

Oryx, Qatar

is an advantage. Strong expertise in

design software

: STAAD Pro Connect, Mat3D. Excellent communication and

client coordination skills

. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
