\xc2\xb7 Take overall responsibility of the Pastry kitchen.

\xc2\xb7 Create Specialty Pastry Menus and executing the same.

\xc2\xb7 Conduct daily shift briefings to kitchen colleagues

\xc2\xb7 Promote a Fun, Professional and Disciplined work environment

\xc2\xb7 Lead by example using Fairmont\'s Mission, Vision & Values

\xc2\xb7 Support/Coach/Lead & Motivate kitchen colleagues

\xc2\xb7 Actively share ideas, opinions & suggestions in daily shift briefings

\xc2\xb7 Ensure storeroom requisitions are accurate to minimize repeat visits

\xc2\xb7 Ensure all kitchen colleagues are aware of standards & expectations

\xc2\xb7 Promote Health and Safety at all times

\xc2\xb7 Ensure proper hygiene as per Ajman Municipality / Food control

\xc2\xb7 Ensure all grooming standards and expectations are followed as required

\xc2\xb7 Ensure spot check and temperature control sheets are filled as required

\xc2\xb7 Maintain cleanliness and proper rotation of product in all chillers

\xc2\xb7 Minimize wastage/ spoilage

Qualifications

\xc2\xb7 Previous experience in the pastry kitchen is must.

\xc2\xb7 Diploma Certification in a Pastry discipline an asset

\xc2\xb7 Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications an asset

\xc2\xb7 Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

\xc2\xb7 Highly responsible & reliable

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work well under pressure in a fast pace environment

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work cohesively as part of a team

\xc2\xb7 Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
