What you\'ll do

You\'ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:

• You are responsible to assist the Head Butler to lead the Butler Team to provide professional and personalized service to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
• Ensuring all Butlers have knowledge of in-suite services, technology and amenities and training Butlers in their performance and work-related activities.
• You will assist the Head Butler in leading and conducting regular inspections of all butler areas including occupied and non-occupied rooms and work with other operating departments, notably front office and food and beverage, to manage VIP guests/customers\' requests.
• You are responsible in guiding and developing a committed multicultural team to ensure the impeccable Dorchester standards are met in all areas.
• You will receive guests in a professional and friendly manner, exceeding guest expectation from arrival through to departure. You will act as a point of contact for the guest during their stay, assisting with any arrangements or requests of the guest.
• You will assist guests and handle any guest concerns in a professional manner and ensure a positive outcome.
• You will ensure guest and colleague satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget.

What you\'ll bring

• You\'ll bring your unique personality and passion to the role and the team.
• You have a talent for problem solving, attention to detail and the ability to quickly adapt to a constantly changing environment.
• You will have strong leadership skills to be able to develop and guide a multicultural team to ensure exception standards and guest experiences.
• As a detail orientated and hands on Team Player with strong interpersonal skills, you will be able to interact with all departments to ensure a cohesive working environment.
• You will be passionate, dynamic and guest focused who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of guest service and provide creative solutions to our guests.
• You will be knowledgeable of PMS, payroll and purchasing systems and be computer literate.
• You will be able to comprehend budgets, P&L statements, payroll and purchasing systems to assist in the financial management of the department.
• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong guest service ethic.
• English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language.
• You will have at least 2 years\' experience in a similar position in a luxury 5 star brand, pre-opening experience would be advantageous. Middle East experience would be advantageous.
• You must be a certified butler professional.
