Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related technical field.
Strong IT experience in banking domain & functional expertise of at least 8+ years in Trade Finance using FIANSTRA Trade Innovation Product suite (Fresh implementations/ upgrades and BAU).
Experience in different banking systems integrated with Core banking solution, specially EQUATION Core banking
Experience in test scope analysis and regression testing
Reviewing and preparing Business Requirement Specification and prepare the test cases exploring all aspects of the scope.
Reports & TI Document Template:
Implementation, customization, configuration and reports development skills.
Crystal Reports development, especially for TIplus system is value added
TIplus Document Template creation compatible with TIplus System
Exposure to FINASTRA FCC (Trade Portal)
Well Conversant with Trade Finance products - Letter of Credits, Guarantees, Collections, Finance, Shipping Guarantees, Supply Chain etc.
Prepare systems business cycle specifications and manage output and controls of calculations and postings
Track and document changes to business specifications.
Defect life cycle Management and execution status reporting
Create and assist others in the writing of user documentation, instruction, procedures, and training
Good exposure in execution of System integration testing, User Acceptance testing, Test Script preparation, Defect Management
Good Understanding of Trade Finance Business and associated Accounting procedures.
Good Understanding on Back office interfaces. e.g. Core banking, SWIFT, Customer Gateway
Good Understanding of back office System integration, basically front end banking systems integration with Core banking Systems
Exposure to Java / J2EE Development, Knowledge in IBM BEA Web logic or Apache Tomcat servers, SQL query, DB2 & Oracle is value addition
Project Management experience with PMP / Prince2 certification is value added
Required Special Skills: - Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English, Arabic is preferable. - Possess strong computer software MS Office (Word, Excel and Access) skills. - Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment. - Excellent business process analysis and mapping. - Team work and sync with reporting hierarchy - Customer service oriented - Strictly adhere to banks ethics and code of conduct - Ability to effectively interact at all levels in the bank and outside contacts. - Planning and organizing ability. - Handling assigned task with commitment and responsibility - Ensure high standards of data protection and confidentiality.
