This position implements the biomedical instrumentation preventive maintenance (PM) program and is responsible for identifying PM failures and performing PMs within established time thresholds. With unscheduled maintenance (repairs), position is expected to document reported problem, type of failure (whether equipment or operator related), and corrective action taken. Repairs are to be completed within established timeframes. Incumbent is expected to maintain accuracy of the equipment database by accounting for all labor and parts expenses, and to identify and report equipment failure trends to BME Leadership. May participate in process improvement teams.
