Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior BIM Technician to join our award-winning team based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include:

• Able to work independently and develop structural drawings and 3D Structural REVIT models in all design stages based on basic sketch input / mark-ups from a Structural Engineer.
• Support Project Engineer on a day-to-day coordination with other disciplines.
• Responsible for the correctness and accuracy of own work and the work allocated and done under his / her supervision on a particular project.
• Understand and implement document control procedures for drawings.
• Able to plan drafting team workload efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Capable of creating BIM families and do clash detection using Navisworks.
• Provide support and guidance for BIM technicians.
• Excellent coordination skills with other disciplines, and able to propose solutions for conflicts
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Navisworks.
• Proficient in BIM 360, good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to understand / interpret structural engineering sketches, have a strong understanding of various types of building structures.
• Be able to understand and work with structural framing to prepare REVIT fro engineering input with engineers' direction.
• Attention to detail - be able to check and correct drawings prepared by other team members.
• Must fully understand and interpret Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing drawings. Be able to create detailed design drawings with the required supporting details.
• Capable to distribute drafting work between BIM technicians and review the outcomes.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a minimum of 10 years' as a Structural BIM Technician, partnered with Civil engineering diploma (minimum 2 years course), Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Working knowledge in Revit Structures, AutoCad, Navisworks, Microsoft Office products.

CAD Certificate, BIM certified professional structure. Continued advanced training in the latest BIM software.
