Position Overview
Senior BIM CAD Drafter role in Dubai supporting Parsons Corporation on infrastructure and utilities projects. This position focuses on producing high-quality 2D drawings and 3D BIM models, ensuring authority compliance and accurate coordination across multidisciplinary design teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D BIM models for infrastructure and utilities projects using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and BIM platforms
• Coordinate closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure drawings accurately reflect design intent
• Prepare plans, profiles, cross-sections, and construction-ready drawings
• Ensure all deliverables comply with Dubai Municipality, RTA, and DEWA standards and submission requirements
• Participate in internal design reviews and provide technical input on drafting and modeling issues
• Maintain drawing registers, version control, and adherence to company CAD and BIM standards
• Support clash detection and model coordination with other disciplines
• Assist in developing and improving BIM and CAD workflows, templates, and quality procedures

Ideal Profile

• Minimum 10 years of proven experience as a BIM CAD Drafter on infrastructure, utilities, or civil engineering projects
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation
• Solid understanding of drafting principles, detailing, and technical drawing standards
• Experience working with large-scale utility networks such as stormwater, sewer, irrigation, and electrical systems
• Ability to interpret engineering sketches and markups into accurate drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables

Skills Set

• Working knowledge of BIM authoring tools such as Revit, Civil 3D, OpenRoads, or similar
• Experience with clash detection tools such as Navisworks or equivalent
• Understanding of multi-disciplinary coordination for utilities, roads, and infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with digital project delivery workflows and ISO standards
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
