We are seeking a highly skilled

Senior BIM Architect

with a strong background in

interior design

and

shop drawing production

for the contractor stage of large-scale architectural projects. You will play a crucial role in developing precise and coordinated BIM models that support fabrication, site execution, and interior fit-out works. This position requires deep technical knowledge, attention to detail, and an ability to translate design intent into constructible documentation.

1. Shop Drawing Production

Lead the development of highly detailed, construction-ready

architectural and interior shop drawings

, including partitions, ceilings, millwork, joinery, finishes, and fixture details. Interpret design drawings, specifications, and subcontractor input to create accurate and coordinated shop drawings for approval. Ensure all drawings meet project requirements, codes, and client standards, and reflect the latest site and RFI updates.

2. Interior Architecture & Fit-Out Coordination

Apply a strong understanding of

interior design principles, materials, and construction methods

to produce fully coordinated fit-out models and drawings. Coordinate with MEP, structural, and specialist trades to ensure seamless integration of interior elements, including built-in furniture, lighting layouts, and wall finishes. Develop material take-offs, schedules, and detailed sections for interior packages.

3. BIM Management & Coordination

Manage and update federated BIM models to reflect contractor-specific needs and site conditions. Participate in clash detection and resolution using tools like Navisworks and BIM 360 Coordinate. Review and integrate subcontractor models/drawings, maintaining alignment with the master model and construction schedule.

4. Construction Support & Field Integration

Collaborate closely with site engineers and project managers to align shop drawings with actual site conditions. Provide ongoing model updates to reflect RFIs, site markups, and change orders. Support installation verification processes using BIM tools and field devices.

5. Standards & Documentation

Ensure compliance with the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP), company standards, and client specifications. Maintain documentation for drawing approvals, version control, and coordination workflows. Contribute to improving BIM workflows and mentoring junior staff on modeling and detailing best practices.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
