Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with strategic growth objectives
• Lead and manage end-to-end bid and proposal activities across assigned disciplines and markets
• Review tender documents, qualification requests, and drawings to define proposal strategy and positioning
• Develop and review cost proposals, business cases, and commercial submissions
• Ensure inclusion of legal, contractual, and risk-related qualifications in all proposals
• Work closely with discipline leads to develop methodologies, execution plans, schedules, and workforce estimates
• Apply negotiation and consensus-building skills to support deal-making and partnerships
• Mentor and guide junior business development and bid team members
• Participate in go or no-go decisions and support operational planning processes
• Ensure compliance with company governance frameworks, policies, and approval authorities
• Monitor active bids and prepare weekly status updates for senior leadership
• Prepare internal and client-facing reports and presentations to enhance win probability
• Support client presentations and independently develop bid strategies to strengthen market confidence

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture
• Minimum 8 years of experience in an advisory, engineering, or consulting environment
• Strong understanding of the role of an LDC within the built environment
• Proven experience leading complex bids and proposals within a multidisciplinary consultancy
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to develop competitive cost and value propositions
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
• Experience working in regional or multinational consultancy environments
