To be considered for the position of Senior BID Manager you must have the following:

• +10 years of experience in the architecture or engineering industry working for a consultancy firm NOT construction
• GCC project experience is essential
• Experience in design consultancy tender and bidding process is an advantage.
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in architecture, a relevant advanced degree or post-graduate degree
• Strong English skills; both written and verbal
• Proficiency in other languages is an advantage but not essential
• Good working knowledge and understanding of consultancy tender and bidding process
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational and management skills are essential
• Working knowledge of the following software;

• MS Office
• Project management software (MS Project, Primavera)
• BIM, AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup

Senior BID Manager duties include:

• Review EOIs and RFPs from clients and provide a summary of the project brief, scope of services and submission requirements.
• Prepares, issues, coordinates and/or provides advice/guidance on RFP tender queries to clients and subconsultants/ specialists
• Prepares, issues and/or reviews bid and tender proposals submissions
• Coordinates with and provides responses to subconsultants\xe2\x80\x99/ specialists\xe2\x80\x99 queries during bidding and tender process;
• Forward client contracts (provided in RFPs) to the Commercial Director and/or Contracts Administrator for review and comments;
• Forward project brief, scope of services and programme (provided in RFPs) to the Project Director and Executive Director \xe2\x80\x93 Architecture for their review and comments;
• Prepare cost analysis and summary of subconsultants\xe2\x80\x99/ specialists\xe2\x80\x99 proposals
• Coordinate with the Managing Director and/or the BD & Operation Director to discuss and finalize fee proposals;
• Prepare, issues and/or reviews response to clients\xe2\x80\x99 post tender clarifications and submissions;
• Prepares and/or issues project handovers to project management team, design team and contracts team, upon receipt of notice of project contract award from the Managing Director or the BD & Operation Director;
• Assists and/or facilitates in the selection and negotiation process of subconsultants/ specialists during project execution design stages;
• Assists and/or facilitates in issuing of notifications of awards (via email) to selected subconsultants/ specialists during project execution design stages;
• Other duties and tasks as may be required, assigned and/or instructed by the Bid Director.
