We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Electrician with hands-on expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems of heavy equipment used in recycling plants and crusher operations. The ideal candidate will be based in the UAE and have strong knowledge of electrical systems for mobile and fixed recycling machinery, including conveyors, crushers, screens, and generators.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair electrical faults in heavy machinery including crushers, screens, wheel loaders, excavators, and generators. Perform wiring, rewiring, installation, and testing of electrical systems on mobile and stationary plant equipment. Inspect, maintain, and replace faulty electrical components such as alternators, starters, wiring harnesses, control panels, sensors, relays, and lighting systems. Troubleshoot and repair control systems including PLCs, relay logic circuits, and hydraulic-electric interlocks. Support mechanical teams during plant shutdowns, machinery overhauls, and commissioning of new equipment. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures when working on live systems and heavy machinery. Maintain service records and submit accurate job cards, work reports, and parts requisitions.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years' proven experience as an Auto Electrician in heavy machinery within

recycling plants, quarrying, or crushing operations

in the UAE or GCC. Strong understanding of automotive and heavy-duty electrical systems, CAN bus, control modules, and diagnostic tools. Experience with brands such as Terex, Powerscreen, Metso, Sandvik, Komatsu, Caterpillar, or similar is highly preferred. Familiar with 12V/24V systems and industrial-grade electrical troubleshooting. Vocational diploma or certification in Auto Electrical or equivalent trade qualification. UAE driving license is an advantage. Ability to work independently in remote sites and under high-temperature conditions.

Preferred Skills:

Basic understanding of hydraulic and mechanical systems. Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices for crushers and screening plants. Ability to read electrical diagrams and interpret manufacturer manuals. Fluency in English; knowledge of Hindi or Arabic is a plus.
