Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Auditor to join our audit and assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and executing audit engagements, evaluating internal controls, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and mentoring junior auditors.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to final reporting

Assess internal controls, risk management processes, and compliance with applicable laws

Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and improvement opportunities

Review the work of junior auditors and provide guidance and training

Communicate effectively with clients and maintain strong professional relationships

Stay updated on relevant accounting and auditing standards (IFRS, ISA, etc.)

Coordinate with tax and advisory teams where necessary for integrated service delivery

Ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards in all audit assignments

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)

Professional certifications: CA, ACCA, CPA (required or in final stages)

Minimum 3-5 years of external audit experience, preferably with a recognized audit firm

In-depth knowledge of IFRS, auditing standards, and UAE regulations

Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills

Excellent communication (verbal & written) and client-facing abilities

Proficiency in audit software/tools (e.g., CaseWare, Excel, etc.)
