The Senior Attorney will deal with a variety of legal matters and will provide overall in-house legal support for our operations, with particular emphasis on the following:
Providing legal support to the Sales team on tenders/project opportunities.
Provide legal support to the Contracts Manager on post-awarded contracts.
Provide legal support to the SCM team on supply/services contracts.
Provide day-to-day legal guidance and if required, compliance matters, to the business.
Management of litigation and disputes.
Ad hoc Company secretarial work.
Perform other tasks and duties delegated or assigned by Chief Counsel.
Must have requirements:
At least 5+ years of legal experience.
Law degree from an accredited law school (U.S. J.D., L.L.M. or equivalent)
Transactional experience in oil and gas, energy, or the maritime industry.
High degree of motivation, excellent organizational and communication skills and strong academic background.
Able to work with and communicate effectively with non-lawyers.
Proficient in spoken and written English language.
Preferred:
Preferred candidate shall have prior experience working for an Engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor.
