Job Summary
Support the procurement of sugar and molasses in line with the company's business plans. Work with the head of the department in procurement and sales regulatory activities. Ensure contractual compliance and risk mitigation to protect the company's interests. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
Essential duties, responsibilities and accountabilities * Execute and administer the raw sugar, ensuring strict compliance with the contracts' terms and conditions.

• Work with the head of the department in doing research, analysis, and assessment of the raw sugar markets in relation to the organization's raw sugar status and requirements.
• Participate in the development and execution of the raw sugar procurement plans, selection and engagement of sugar and vendors, freight providers etc.
• Support the head of the department in finalization, and securing of sugar contracts. Develop and maintain collaborative trade and stakeholder relationships.
• Preparation of Export documents including sending shipping instructions, checking BL drafts and finalization of documents
• Keep track and maintain accurate and updated stock, freight, sales, and pricing database.
• Proof-reading of purchase contracts before finalization.
• Prepare a projected raw sugar purchase plan, review time to time as per the sales forecast as well as melting forecast in guidance with higher management.
• Plan and schedule the shipments in accordance with the contractual obligations.
• Ensure to update internal stake holders such as Insurance dept., finance dept., Refinery and futures desk about the shipment plan, loading and discharging of vessels at regular intervals.
• Ensure to settle the claims within the time period stipulated in the contract with the vendors, freight providers etc.
• Execute and administer White Refined Sugar long term and exchange contract as assigned by the higher management.

Requirements: * Knowledge of breakbulk shipping + incoterms

• Having good communication skills with knowledge of office tools like MS word, excel and SAP will be preferred.
