Senior Associate - Mall Operations
Position Overview
Majid Al Futtaim Properties is seeking a Senior Associate, Operations to oversee and manage daily operational functions within one of its leading retail destinations in Dubai. This role is pivotal in ensuring optimal mall performance across engineering, safety, cleaning, and facilities while maintaining service excellence, compliance, and tenant satisfaction in a high-footfall environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Administer all aspects of mall operations, including security, housekeeping, engineering, and ambiance, ensuring that service levels meet internal standards and customer expectations
• Monitor vendor performance and manage contracts across cleaning, parking systems, landscaping, and sustainability initiatives in line with KPIs and SLAs
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments while ensuring regulatory and internal policy compliance
• Handle daily operational budgeting, resource allocation, cost control, and financial reporting to support the Operations Manager
• Coordinate effectively with government departments and regulatory bodies regarding licenses, permits, and public safety compliance
• Respond promptly to tenant and customer concerns, ensuring professional handling and issue resolution
• Oversee third-party service providers, conduct emergency drills, and lead initiatives for continuous improvement in operational efficiency and mall experience
• Support revenue enhancement initiatives by identifying underutilized areas and optimizing space usage within the mall

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Facilities Management, or related field
• 2 to 3 years of experience in property or mall operations, preferably in the GCC retail sector
• Strong project coordination, vendor management, and problem-solving capabilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of MS Project and AutoCAD is an advantage
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal, negotiation, and time-management skills
• Familiar with compliance, safety, and emergency preparedness procedures in a retail environment
