Senior Associate Investment Management (uae National)

Job Description

We are currently headhunting for an Investment Management Senior Associate role with a top-tier Investment entity based in Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in developing the asset mgmt. investments proposals across all stages of the transaction from sourcing to execution
- Identify, research and analyze potential acquisition recommendations received from internal and external sources; gain understanding of financial performance, contractual commitments, operations, facilities, etc.
- Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify market opportunities in the UAE
- Assist in all acquisition phases including structuring definitive agreements and their drafting processes
- Assist in the due diligence process; coordinate efforts in conjunction with legal and commercial divisions (and external advisers)
- Interact with acquisition representatives as requested, ensuring complete understanding of business
- Build financial and valuation models and assisting with budgeting, forecasting and assessing financial results, in addition to valuing intangible assets and determining purchase price allocations
- Prepare presentation materials/memoranda and financial and impact assessment reports for the line manager
- Coordinate as requested with agents, owners and brokers on potential acquisitions, coordinate with valuers and structural engineers in DD process, coordinating with lawyers and reviewing contracts, coordinating with banks to secure lending and negotiating terms
- Maintain asset acquisition records/documents and ensure proper handover/transition of acquired asset to relevant teams/individuals
- Define the financial and strategic metrics to establish the positioning of JVs/Subsidiaries, and ensure alignment of the operating plans
- Assist in establishing regular financial reporting framework between JVs/Subsidiaries and company's Acquisitions and Adjacent Business team including improving monthly reporting packs and Board packs and internal reporting frameworks
- Assist in developing the JVs and Subsidiaries
- Undertake deep dives into the business operations /financial performance and prepare recommendation papers for the line manager, highlighting areas of organizational and operational improvement and identify efficiencies, revenue generation and cost saving initiatives in a timely and structured manner
- Monitor the company's JVs and Subsidiaries business performance and provide periodic report to the line manager

Requirements:
- Min of 6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, buy side or sell side advisory role or related fields
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Finance or Accounting
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency with standard software, including MS Office; advanced Excel skills is a must
- Experience in conducting valuation / financial models
- Able to analyze, evaluate and move quickly to support rapid decision making
- Ability to interpret and manage transaction documentation: NDAs, MoUs, LoI's, and SPA's
- Ability to develop Board level papers and investment memoranda
