AECOM is seeking a Senior Associate Electrical - Metro to join its transportation engineering team in Dubai. This role focuses on the delivery, coordination, and technical oversight of electrical systems for metro and rail projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant solutions across all project stages.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee electrical engineering activities for metro and rail infrastructure projects
Review and approve electrical designs related to traction power, substations, power distribution, lighting, earthing, and low-voltage systems
Ensure compliance with international standards and local authority requirements for rail and metro systems
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, systems, signaling, and mechanical engineers
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and design teams
Support project planning, technical reviews, value engineering, and risk assessments
Liaise with clients, contractors, and authorities during design development and delivery stages
Ensure safety, quality, and constructability considerations are embedded in all electrical designs
Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities for metro electrical systems
Ideal Profile
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Extensive experience in electrical design and delivery of metro or rail projects
Strong knowledge of traction power systems, substations, and rail electrical interfaces
Experience working on large-scale transportation infrastructure projects
