Our client, a leading UAE based fund, is looking for a Senior Associate to join their growing team. This pivotal role will involve providing comprehensive support to the Advisory function, encompassing end-to-end deal advisory, origination, and execution, with hands-on involvement as required. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of governance and corporate structure blueprints for various companies.

Responsibilities:

• Support Advisory panel and project management in line with approved investment strategy
• Lead all operational activities related to advisory, including scheduling and leading meetings/calls, drafting correspondences, and interfacing with prospective partners
• Collaborate with cross-functional deal teams (e.g., Legal, Finance, etc.) to ensure adherence to timelines and facilitate smooth processes
• Assist in advising on optimal structures and lead the due diligence process
• Support business planning activities, including strategy and objective setting, annual budget development, and corporate performance measures
• Assess business risks and implement corporate governance framework and processes
• Monitor and report on governance, operational, and financial issues
• Coordinate internal and external portfolio communication, such as IC papers, opportunity reviews, and client/Fund updates
• Cultivate industry networks by attending trade shows, events, and conferences
• Ensure the quality and reliability of deliverables from junior members, consultants, etc.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a top-tier advisory (Big 4), investment bank, management consulting or private equity firm
• Advanced financial modeling, valuation, asset management and/or strategy and business planning; expert in advisory & investment management concepts
• Proficient in asset management of complex, large, or non-performing assets
• Bachelor\'s degree in finance or related preferred, CFA would be advantageous
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (Arabic highly desirable)
