Job Description
One of the leading Digital Marketing companies in Abu Dhabi looking for a Senior Art Director. We are searching for an experienced Senior Art Director who will work very collaboratively with the Head of Creative Department and will lead a team of extremely talented digital designers, animators and copywriters who are known for exceptional creativity. The ideal Senior Art Director will bring a mix of artistic, marketing, and business expertise to the position, promoting our company and that of our valued clients. The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for design and a passion for delivering dynamic ideas that connect with any audience. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create original key visuals and layouts for illustrations, logos, websites, social platforms, several digital platforms and other agency-specific purposes.
- Work in a close-knit creative partnership with Copywriters, Animators, Digital Designers, Videographers, Video Editors and other Production Team members, to generate campaign ideas and see them through from concepts to completion.
- Creating fearless campaign ideas and building presentations that are thought provoking and show how the ideas work across different channels.
- Develop creative briefs based on ideas established in brainstorming sessions with direction, schedules, and expected deliverables for the creative team.
- Obtain team approval by presenting final layouts, storyboards, and illustrations, encouraging members to provide feedback, and responding to internal commentary and requests.
- Present or oversee presentation of final concepts and coordinate production and dissemination for cross-organizational use.
- Minimum 10 years\' work experience as a professional art director and able to lead a team of creative professionals.
- Background in Marketing and Advertising Agency is a MUST.
- A rockstar Senior Art Director with genuine passion for art direction in digital platforms while maintaining high standards for executions and attention to tone.
- Complete hands-on knowledge of all appropriate software including the Adobe CS suite including photoshop, illustrator, in design.
- A general knowledge on how to work in motion design software including but not limited to Adobe Premiere and Aftereffects is an added advantage.
- Aware of the nuances of production including film shoots, still photography as well as 2D and 3D animation possibilities.
- Excellent communication skills to obtain all necessary information from the client servicing team, social media, digital advertising and influencer marketing team.
