Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Architect with hands-on UAE experience in fit-out and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in architectural design, 3D visualization, and project coordination. The role requires regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure design accuracy, and coordinate with site teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop architectural concepts, detailed designs, and technical drawings for fit-out and renovation projects. Prepare 3D visualizations, renderings, walkthroughs, and animations to effectively communicate design intent. Conduct regular site visits to ensure project progress aligns with approved designs and specifications. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to meet design, quality, and timeline objectives. Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and ensure design compliance with UAE building codes. Resolve on-site design-related issues and provide technical guidance to the site team. Ensure that all deliverables maintain Modern Space's standards of creativity, accuracy, and excellence.

Requirements:Education:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Design, or a related field. Master's degree (MA) in Architecture or Design is preferred.

Licensing & Experience:

Valid architectural license. Proven experience with a strong portfolio of completed architectural and interior projects. UAE experience in a fit-out and renovations company is mandatory. Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience as an architect.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Expertise in 3D rendering, modeling, and architectural animation (3D walkthroughs and flythroughs). Strong understanding of architectural detailing, joinery, and interior fit-out construction methods. Knowledge of BIM workflows and coordination. Ability to prepare detailed shop drawings and technical submissions. Familiarity with project documentation, material selection, and presentation techniques.

Excellent leadership, communication, and client interaction skills. Strong interpersonal and team coordination abilities. Detail-oriented, analytical, and creative thinker. Dedicated to quality, accuracy, and meeting deadlines. Willingness to work overtime and visit sites as required.
