Job Description
The Senior Civil Architect is responsible for leading the planning, design, and execution of architectural and civil projects from concept to completion. This role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with building codes and standards, and delivering high-quality, functional, and sustainable designs that meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage architectural design projects from concept through construction. Develop and review detailed drawings, plans, specifications, and cost estimates. Coordinate with civil, structural, MEP, and interior design teams to ensure design consistency. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design intent. Review and approve materials, shop drawings, and technical submittals. Ensure all designs adhere to local authority regulations, safety standards, and sustainability requirements. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and engineers. Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve design and construction issues. Prepare project reports, presentations, and documentation for management and clients. Stay updated on architectural trends, technologies, and best practices.
