Job Summary:

The Senior Architect is responsible for leading the design and coordination of architectural projects from concept to completion. The role involves developing design concepts, reviewing technical drawings, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, and coordinating with clients, consultants, and project teams to deliver high-quality architectural solutions within timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee

architectural design development

for residential, commercial, and interior fit-out projects. Prepare

concept designs, detailed drawings, and presentation layouts

using AutoCAD and Revit. Coordinate with

MEP, structural, and interior design teams

to ensure design consistency and functionality. Review and approve

shop drawings, material submittals, and design documents

. Conduct

site inspections

to ensure design intent is executed during construction. Provide

technical guidance and mentorship

to junior architects and draftsmen. Liaise with

clients, consultants, and authorities

to ensure project requirements are met and approvals are secured. Participate in

tender evaluations, value engineering, and design presentations

. Ensure all designs comply with

local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards

. Maintain documentation and version control for design deliverables.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Architecture

from a recognized university. Minimum

10 years of experience

in architecture and interior design (preferably with exposure to fit-out or construction projects in the GCC). Proficiency in

AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office

. Strong understanding of

building codes, construction methods, and materials

. Excellent

design visualization and presentation skills

. Strong communication, leadership, and coordination abilities. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred:

UAE or GCC experience

with knowledge of local authority approval processes (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, etc.). Experience in

design-build and interior fit-out projects

. Membership in a professional architectural body (

RIBA, AIA, or equivalent

) is an advantage.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
