Job Summary
AECOM are looking for Senior Architects across multiple projects. Serving as a competent professional within an architectural design team, the Senior Architect is responsible for planning (including budget and resource allocation), scheduling, organizing, coordinating, and executing design work across any or all phases of development on small to medium-scale projects, or distinct portions of larger projects.
Role & Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and BIM modelling efforts, including managing assignments within a small team, ensuring alignment with the design brief, relevant codes, and requirements for multidisciplinary coordination.
• Conduct self-checking and oversee others to verify the completeness and accuracy of work, maintaining high-quality standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary coordination efforts within architecture and specialist disciplines, fostering effective collaboration.
• Provide guidance and management to the architectural team and junior staff, making design decisions and ensuring their successful implementation.
• Actively engage with clients by presenting progress on assigned packages and managing related communications to ensure client satisfaction and project success.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements

• 8 years+ post-undergraduate experience
• B. Arch or Master in Architecture, or equivalent depends on educational background. 4-5 years duration
• RIBA Part 2 equivalent allowing to take Professional Qualification exam International Accreditations (RIBA, AIA or equivalent) preferred.
• Local Authority Architect registration preferred
