Job Role

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Architect located in Dubai. The Senior Architect will be responsible for overseeing the architectural design process, ensuring the integration of various software development and architectural elements. Day-to-day tasks include managing project timelines, coordinating with different teams, and ensuring that architectural projects meet quality standards and are completed on time. The Senior Architect plays a key role in strategic planning, project management, and delivering innovative architectural solutions.

Performs general architectural works including architectural design, site visits and inspections and prepares related reports. Reviews CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and material boards prepared by Architectural Designers. Makes new proposals and/or modify existing drawings when necessary. Oversee all aspects of design, including design development, construction documentation. Ensures compliance with applicable codes and standards. Coordinates work with engineering and construction units at project site. Reviews, approves, and issues detailed design and construction drawings and specifications prepared by others. Provides technical guidance to Architectural staff working on the same project. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. Coordinate with internal and external team members, including architects, engineers and contractors Lead project related meeting and discussions. Conduct site visits to assess compliance with the project specification and quality requirements and identify any issues that may arise. participate in the preparation of bid documents. Continuously improve industry knowledge & build staff capabilities within the practice by leading, coaching, and mentoring the architectural team.

Skills/Qualifications:

Arabic Speaking and fluent in English - have excellent communication and presentation skills. Have at least 10 years of professional experience in designing & project management, including minimum 7 years in international companies in UAE. With UAE driving license Master AutoCAD applications- Photoshop - Primavera - 3D - Revit - Illustrator - InDesign and associated design tools. Be extensively and progressively responsible experience in planning, designing and managing design and construction of major multi used complex projects; includes extensive experience in design and construction of housing and mixed used buildings. Knowledge of design and construction management principles; includes CPM scheduling, cost control, change order pricing/negotiation and construction techniques, standards and practices. Have Knowledge of architectural design principles such as building definition materials and methods, urban design, elements of 'good' design, form, function, materials and methods, circulation, context, and design standards and codes. Have the Ability to independently prepare architectural procedures and forms. demonstrate ability to present complex information to diverse audiences, both verbally and graphically. Experienced in dealing with Authorities and their Regulations. Have the Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. Have demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate projects.
