We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Senior Architect

with a strong architectural background and proven experience in both

design

and

consultancy

. The role involves leading architectural design efforts for a major project based in Iraq, ensuring high standards of design quality, compliance with local regulations, and effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the architectural design and development process for the Iraq-based project from concept to detailed design stages. Provide expert architectural consultancy and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare, review, and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and documentation. Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, and contractors to ensure project objectives and design intent are met. Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards relevant to Iraq. Oversee design workshops, presentations, and client meetings. Mentor and supervise junior architects and design staff. Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver the project on schedule and within budget. Conduct site visits and inspections as necessary to monitor progress and quality control. Integrate innovative design solutions while respecting cultural and contextual factors of the project location.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Architecture

or related field. Minimum

10 years

of professional architectural experience, including significant consultancy and design roles. Proven experience managing large-scale architectural projects, preferably in the Middle East or similar contexts. Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical expertise. Excellent knowledge of architectural design software such as

AutoCAD

,

Revit

,

SketchUp

, and

Adobe Creative Suite

. Good understanding of local Iraqi building regulations and construction practices is a plus. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams. Willingness to relocate or travel to Iraq as required.
