Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Architect to lead and manage high-profile architectural projects from concept through to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in consultancy, advanced proficiency in Revit and BIM, and a deep understanding of UAE building codes and authority submission processes.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership:

Lead architectural teams in delivering complex projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments.

Design Development:

Oversee all design phases, ensuring alignment with client objectives, regulatory requirements, and sustainability goals.

BIM Management:

Utilize Revit and BIM 360 for model development, clash detection, and multidisciplinary coordination.

Consultant Coordination:

Manage and coordinate with internal teams and external consultants (structural, MEP, etc.) to ensure seamless project delivery.

Authority Liaison:

Navigate local authority submission processes, ensuring compliance with Dubai Municipality and other relevant bodies.

Quality Assurance:

Review and approve design documentation, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to project timelines.

Team Mentorship:

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and design staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Client Engagement:

Maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

Professional Experience:

Minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience in architectural design and consultancy, with at least 5 years based in the UAE.

Certifications:

Professional registration (e.g., RIBA, AIA) preferred.

Skills

Software Proficiency:

Advanced skills in Autodesk Revit, BIM 360, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.

BIM Expertise:

Experience in managing BIM workflows, including model development, clash detection, and coordination across disciplines.

Project Management Tools:

Familiarity with project planning and management software such as MS Project or Primavera.

Regulatory Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of UAE building codes, sustainability standards, and authority submission procedures.

Leadership:

Proven ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams.

Desirable Attributes

Experience in delivering projects across all RIBA Plan of Work stages. Familiarity with sustainable design practices and certifications (e.g., LEED, Estidama). Experience in managing large-scale projects and coordinating with international teams.
