Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Design & Technical:

Lead the design and development of architectural concepts for interior fit-out projects.

Prepare and review design drawings, detailed shop drawings, material specifications, and construction documents.

Ensure all designs meet local building codes, regulations, and health and safety standards.

Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior design teams to ensure design integration.

Perform value engineering to optimize cost, materials, and time without compromising design quality.

Project Management:

Manage multiple projects simultaneously from design development to final handover.

Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, and procurement timelines.

Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure work is progressing according to design, timeline, and quality standards.

Resolve any technical issues on site in coordination with the construction team.

Contracting & Fit-Out:

Lead and supervise interior fit-out works including partitioning, ceiling, flooring, joinery, and FF&E.

Review and approve material submittals, mock-ups, and samples in accordance with project specifications.

Ensure fit-out execution aligns with the design intent and meets client expectations.

Collaborate with quantity surveyors and procurement teams on cost estimation and material selection.

Requirements: Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.

Valid architectural license or membership (preferred).

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years' experience, with at least 5 years in interior fit-out and contracting.

Proven portfolio of completed fit-out projects in commercial, hospitality, or residential sectors.

Skills:

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) is a plus.

Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing.

Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple stakeholders under pressure.
